National Tulip Festival |

Nora was among 150 artists invited to create a
5-foot tulip for the National Tulip Festival in 2005. The theme of the
event was a celebration of Ottawa's 150th anniversary, so Nora chose to
focus on the maple sugar harvest which is an important tradition and
industry around the Ottawa region. The Tulip Art Garden
held further works inside a tent on the grounds of Ottawa City
Hall. After the initial festival in May, the tulips were brought on
tour to the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto.
